Our Business

From grove to bottle

Publica Group is a coconut business from the ground up. We grow our own coconuts on our own estates and process them in our own mill.

Overview

One business, from the tree to the customer

Because we own every step, we can vouch for every step. That is the difference between buying coconut oil and making it.

Our own groves

Our coconuts come from palms we planted and look after, not from the open market.

Our own mill

We dry, press, filter and pack in our own facility, close to the estates.

Traceable to the tree

Every batch can be traced back to the estate and the harvest it came from.

Our Farms

Coconut groves we plant and tend ourselves

Our estates are where everything starts. Healthy palms give better nuts, and better nuts give better oil.

  • Palms grown on our own estates
  • Nuts harvested by hand at the right maturity
  • A rolling replanting program for young, productive groves
  • Ground cover and intercropping to protect the soil

Harvest, by hand

Placeholder: explain the harvest cycle, how often each palm is picked, and how nuts are sorted and carried to the mill so they arrive fresh.

Our harvest teams know every grove. They pick only mature nuts, which keeps quality high and lets young nuts keep growing.

How we farm sustainably

Oil Production

How our mill makes coconut oil

Fresh kernel becomes virgin coconut oil. Dried copra becomes refined oil. Both pass through our own lab before they leave.

  1. Harvest

Nuts arrive from our estates within days of picking.

  2. Dehusk and split

Husks are removed for coir and the nuts are opened.

  3. Dry

Kernel for refined oil is dried into copra; kernel for virgin oil stays fresh.

  4. Press

Fresh kernel is cold-pressed; copra goes through our expeller presses.

  5. Filter and test

Oil is filtered, settled and tested in our quality lab.

  6. Pack and ship

Finished oil is filled and shipped to customers at home and abroad.

Drying, done carefully

Good copra makes good oil. Placeholder: explain how kernel is dried (sun, kiln or hot-air dryers), how moisture is checked and why it matters for the oil's quality and shelf life.

  • In-house lab testing of every batch
  • Batch records from estate to shipment
  • Food-safe handling, storage and filling
  • Regular audits by independent bodies
